The special forces of environmental security arrested 6 expatriates from Indian, Pakistani, and Egyptian nationalities for violating environmental regulations in the Eastern region. They were exploiting deposits in the area. The authorities took legal actions against them.
Five pieces of equipment used for excavation and soil transportation were confiscated. The forces urged the public to report any cases of environmental violations or threats to wildlife by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern region, and 999 and 996 in other areas of the Kingdom.
