Under the auspices of the Saudi leadership, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Defense, convened with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at the Al Shatea Palace in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, today.
During their meeting, Prince Khalid conveyed warm greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as from His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He expressed their sincere wishes for prosperity and ongoing advancement for the UAE’s government and its people. In reciprocation, Sheikh Mohammed extended his regards and appreciation towards King Salman and the Crown Prince.
The discussions during the meeting focused on the deep-rooted fraternal ties and avenues for collaborative efforts between the two nations. They explored various strategies to bolster security and stability in the region, emphasizing the importance of their partnership in addressing challenges and fostering peace.
Attending the meeting were several dignitaries, including Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, the Minister of Defense’s Advisor for Intelligence Affairs. Representing the UAE were prominent figures such as Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Royal Court for Private Affairs.
Additionally, notable attendees included Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the UAE, Ali bin Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Executive Office Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chief of Strategic Affairs in the President’s Office.
