Prince of Riyadh Hosts Community Celebration in Al-Majma’ah, Unveiling a Series of Development Projects

On a significant day for the residents of Al-Majma’ah, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of the Riyadh Region, presided over a celebratory event aimed at commemorating his visit to the province. The gathering took place at the municipality hall of Al-Majma’ah and marked the unveiling of numerous developmental projects intended to enhance the community.

During his address, Prince Faisal expressed his profound pleasure at being in Al-Majma’ah, emphasizing the importance of interacting with the local populace. He highlighted the ongoing and prospective developmental projects as part of the government’s commitment to progressive initiatives under the esteemed guidance of the kingdom’s leadership. The Prince called upon the Almighty to bestow success upon all those working in the province, acknowledging their efforts in serving both the nation and its monarch.

The Emir stated, “What we have witnessed today in terms of the municipality projects and initiatives from the Al-Majma’ah Chamber of Commerce is truly gratifying. It stands as a testament to the leadership’s commitment to fostering collaboration between governmental bodies and the private sector within these projects.”

Kicking off the event, Tawfiq bin Ahmad Al-Askar delivered a speech on behalf of the local community, extending a warm welcome to Prince Faisal. He stressed that the visit exemplifies the dedication of the government, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his successor, to ensuring the highest quality of services for both citizens and residents alike.

Al-Askar underscored the pivotal role played by the Emir in facilitating development and extending continuous support, noting that his directives and persistent oversight are essential to advancing various service-oriented and developmental initiatives. The budget allocated for these ventures amounts to seven million riyals. Additionally, the Prince launched a project dedicated to the development of public squares within the municipality.

Furthermore, a significant announcement was made regarding the Al-Majma’ah Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s initiative, which includes the establishment of the Al-Majma’ah Innovation Center for Industrial and Agricultural Development. This center aims to serve as an advanced platform for developing innovative solutions within the agriculture and industry sectors, reflecting a progressive approach toward economic diversification and technological advancement.

As the celebration drew to a close, Prince Faisal bin Bandar hosted a luncheon attended by the acting Governor of Al-Majma’ah, local officials, and members of the community.
