In a significant meeting held today, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, the Minister of Interior, welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud, the Governor of Al-Qassim Region. The gathering also included Major General Mohammed bin Said Al-Quraini, the Director General of Anti-Narcotics, along with senior officials from the Anti-Narcotics Department in Al-Qassim.
At the outset of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz conveyed the warm greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Prime Minister, to all attendees. The Minister emphasized that under the directives and unwavering support of the leadership, significant measures continue across Saudi Arabia to combat drug-related crimes, targeting traffickers and distributors.
Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the essential contributions made by the anti-narcotics personnel in the region, acknowledging the collaborative efforts with colleagues in various security sectors throughout the country. He stressed that their relentless pursuit plays a crucial role in safeguarding the nation’s security and stability.
During the meeting, the attendees watched a documentary that showcased the extensive efforts undertaken by the anti-narcotics teams in Al-Qassim. The film highlighted the proactive operations implemented by the Kingdom aimed at dismantling drug trafficking networks and thwarting international criminal organizations engaged in drug smuggling into Saudi Arabia.
