نائب وزير الدفاع يترأس حفل تخرج طلبة كلية الملك عبدالعزيز الحربية نيابةً عن وزير الدفاع

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, the Deputy Minister of Defense, presided over the graduation ceremony of the 83rd batch of students from King Abdulaziz Military Academy today.
Upon his arrival at the academy located in Al-‘Ainiah, His Highness was warmly welcomed by Major General Fahd bin Abdullah al-Ghafili, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Fahd bin Saud al-Jahni, the Chief of Ground Forces, and Major General Fahd bin Saad Zaid al-Qahiz, the Academy Commandant.
The ceremony commenced with the national anthem played in honor of His Highness, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran to commence the proceedings.
In his address, the Commandant of King Abdulaziz Military Academy expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Minister for his presence and support of the graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of the students who have successfully completed their military and academic training. He highlighted that the graduates had engaged in various educational phases and training exercises that included specialized courses in paratrooping, basic combat skills, and operations in mountainous regions.
He also noted with pride that this graduating class included participants from several brotherly countries, which encompassed the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Djibouti, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the Republic of Yemen.
Following this, a speech was delivered on behalf of the graduates by Muath bin Jarallah Al-Farhan, who expressed appreciation for the honor of having the Deputy Minister of Defense at their graduation ceremony. He emphasized the honor they felt in serving alongside their fellow military personnel in the sacred duty of defending their faith, monarch, and homeland, a commitment they have prepared for through rigorous scientific training and military education.
Subsequent to the speeches, the ceremony included a military parade, the handing over of the academy’s flag, and the graduates taking their oaths. The results were then announced, and the Deputy Minister honored the outstanding students with accolades, while the graduates conferred military ranks upon one another.
Following the formal proceedings, a commemorative photograph session took place with the graduates alongside His Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense, leading to the conclusion of the ceremony with the national anthem.
The event was attended by notable figures including Major General Eid bin Awaid Al-Shalwi, the Commander of the Unified Military Command of Gulf Cooperation Council States, Major General Jarallah bin Mohammed Al-Alwait, the Commander of Strategic Missile Forces, Major General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mutair, an advisor in the Minister of Defense’s office, and Dr. Samir bin Abdulaziz Al-Tabeeb, the advisor at the Ministry of Defense and CEO of the Ministry’s Development Program, in addition to the families of the graduates.
This graduation event not only marked a significant milestone in the lives of the graduates but also underscored the strengthening of military relations among the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, supporting regional security and cooperation. The ceremony celebrated the commitment and determination of the graduates, preparing them to take on pivotal roles in the defense of their nations.
