According to a report from the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, which falls under the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the ministry issued 105 new industrial licenses in February 2025. Additionally, 113 new factories started production during the same month. The report, which tracks industrial indicators on a monthly basis, revealed that the total investment associated with the new licenses exceeded 1.02 billion Saudi Riyals.

These projects are expected to create more than 1504 job opportunities across various regions in the Kingdom. On the other hand, the total investment in factories that commenced production in February amounted to 900 million Riyals, with an estimated 4114 new job opportunities. This reflects the ongoing expansion of the industrial base in the Kingdom and the increasing pace of factories entering actual operation.

The Ministry regularly releases key industrial indicators through the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information on a monthly basis. These indicators reflect the industrial activity in the Kingdom, including the volume of new investments, the number of issued licenses, and the factories starting production. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and monitor the industrial growth that the Kingdom is experiencing.
