180+ Maritime Sector Qualifications Issued by “Logisti” Platform in Q1 of 2025, Says Transport Ministry

The General Authority for Transport issued over 180 qualification certificates for trainees in the maritime sector in the first quarter of this year through the “Logisti” platform. The authority launched more than 73 specialized maritime training courses in various fields, with 1,159 participants, including 20 female trainees, highlighting the empowerment of women in maritime transportation and their presence in different maritime specialties. They approved over 243 certificates for participation in training courses to better prepare individuals for the job market in the maritime sector.

Furthermore, the authority conducted 13 qualification tests for 82 students to ensure their readiness for fieldwork, in addition to endorsing 1,210 foreign maritime competency certificates. These efforts are part of the General Authority for Transport’s initiatives to develop the national workforce in the maritime sector, support educational and training programs, and create a highly efficient maritime environment that incorporates the latest technologies and global developments.

Through these initiatives, the authority aims to achieve the objectives of the national strategy for transportation and logistics services, contributing to enhancing the kingdom’s international reputation by adhering to the highest safety and efficiency standards in the maritime sector.
