The Saudi delegation commenced its participation in the 2025 BIO International Biotechnology Convention today, showcasing a national pavilion spearheaded by the Ministry of Health. This pavilion encompasses over 25 governmental, private, and research entities, all geared towards fulfilling the objectives set by the National Biotechnology Strategy, which was initiated by His Highness the Crown Prince.
The delegation is led by His Excellency Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development. This initiative is part of the broader efforts of the health sector to foster international collaboration, establishing the Kingdom as a pivotal regional hub in biotechnology.
Within the Saudi pavilion, significant national initiatives in biotechnology research and technology will be presented. The BIO International Convention is recognized as the world’s largest event in the biotechnology sector. This year, it is taking place in Boston, Massachusetts, from June 16 to 19, 2025.
