Enhancing Pilgrimage Experience: "Nusuk Care" Centers in Mina
In alignment with the Ministry of Hajj’s initiatives aimed at serving the guests of Allah, the "Nusuk Care" centers continue to provide vital services in Mina and the holy sites during the Days of Tashreeq. These centers are dedicated to enhancing the overall experience for pilgrims, offering humanitarian, linguistic, and health support throughout various phases of the Hajj journey, all within a comprehensive operational framework that aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The "Nusuk Care" centers are strategically distributed across Mina and sacred locations, featuring over 239 permanent centers and mobile units that operate around the clock. Their primary goal is to deliver guidance, psychological support, health assistance, and respond promptly to reports, with a particular focus on humanitarian cases. They also aid pilgrims in navigating essential services and locations. Since the beginning of the current Hajj season, these centers have successfully offered more than 765,000 services, highlighting their pivotal role in this annual event.
A unique aspect of the teams at the "Nusuk Care" centers is their linguistic diversity. Comprised of qualified personnel from both genders, the teams are proficient in over 11 languages, including sign language. They operate under the supervision of a centralized control room that is integrated with the digital systems of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. This integration ensures a swift response and immediate resolution of cases, in collaboration with various service agencies in the field.
Since its launch in 2019, the "Nusuk Care" initiative has stood out as one of the Ministry’s key efforts in providing personal and direct care to pilgrims. To date, it has successfully delivered over 8 million field services, in partnership with the Health Awareness Association. The range of services includes guidance, response to reports, vital signs monitoring, and health and linguistic support.
The management of these centers incorporates advanced technology, with real-time data exchange facilitated by the "Nusuk" digital platform. This system enables operational decisions to be made based on current field analysis, using electronic tools to measure pilgrim satisfaction and continuously improve services as needed.
The ongoing provision of "Nusuk Care" services in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq exemplifies the Ministry’s commitment to a service model focused on care and humanitarian principles. This effort aims to instill a sense of tranquility among pilgrims, ultimately contributing to a safe, seamless, and comprehensive Hajj experience.
Through the “Nusuk Care” initiative, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah not only addresses the immediate needs of pilgrim communities but is also enhancing the overall atmosphere of spiritual enrichment during the Hajj pilgrimage. The dedication to operational excellence and the well-being of each pilgrim is not merely a goal but a fundamental aspect of the Hajj experience in Saudi Arabia.
In summary, the "Nusuk Care" centers represent a significant leap towards modernized pilgrim support during Hajj. By leveraging technology and human resources effectively, they ensure that every guest receives personalized attention and assistance, thereby enriching their spiritual journey. The commitment to improving pilgrim satisfaction and providing essential health and psychological support highlights the ongoing evolution of Hajj services in the Kingdom, showcasing a model worthy of replication in religious gatherings worldwide.
