941 Mosques and Prayer Grounds Open Their Doors to Worshippers for Eid al-Adha in Medina and Surrounding Areas

Preparations Underway for Eid Al-Adha Prayer in Madinah
The branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance in the Madinah region has announced the completion of all necessary preparations for the Eid Al-Adha prayer in 1446 AH. This involves the meticulous setup of 941 mosques and open prayer areas throughout Madinah, including its various provinces, villages, and facilities.
Osama bin Zaid Madkhali, the director general of the branch, emphasized that the preparations were initiated well in advance. The ministry has intensified its monitoring and field inspections to ensure that all mosques and prayer locations are fully equipped to accommodate worshippers on this significant occasion.
Furthermore, Madkhali confirmed that the Eid Al-Adha prayer is scheduled to take place 15 minutes after sunrise, in accordance with the Umm al-Qura calendar. The collaboration and effort from the authorities highlight their commitment to facilitating worship during one of the most important Islamic holidays.
