Tuesday, June 3, 2025: Weather Forecast and Temperature Outlook

The National Center of Meteorology has released its weather report for today, forecasting the possibility of active winds that may stir up dust and sand in certain areas of the Riyadh and Al-Jawf regions. These conditions could lead to a significant reduction in visibility across parts of Tabbuk, the Eastern Province, as well as Medina and Mecca, particularly along the coastal zones. Additionally, there remains a likelihood for the development of thunderstorm clouds, accompanied by gusty winds, over portions of the mountainous regions in Jazan and Asir.
The report highlights that surface winds over the Red Sea will predominantly blow from the north to northwest at speeds ranging from 25 to 45 kilometers per hour. In the vicinity of the Gulf of Aqaba, wind speeds may escalate to 55 kilometers per hour. Wave heights are expected to vary from 1.5 to 2.5 meters, potentially reaching up to 3 meters towards the Gulf of Aqaba, with sea conditions categorized as moderate to choppy.
As for the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will also be blowing from the northwest at speeds between 28 and 50 kilometers per hour. The waves in this area are anticipated to be between 1.5 and 2.5 meters high, and the sea condition will be moderately choppy.
The ongoing weather fluctuations highlight the dynamic atmospheric conditions prevalent in the region, warranting caution for outdoor activities, particularly in areas experiencing reduced visibility due to dust, as well as those prone to thunderstorms. Residents and travelers are advised to remain alert and monitor ongoing updates from the meteorological authorities. Overall, it is crucial to stay informed about local weather patterns and to take appropriate measures for personal safety and wellbeing.
