وزارة الطرق تسمح بإنشاء ‘مواقع متنقلة’ لدعم ضيوف الرحمن في حال تعطل حافلاتهم على طريق الهجرة

In a bid to ensure the utmost comfort and safety for the pilgrims, the General Authority for Roads has unveiled the “Mobile Sites” service along the Migration Route. This initiative is aimed at providing temporary facilities for pilgrims in the event that their buses experience breakdowns on their journey—a situation no one wishes for. The announcement was made in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, who also serves as the Chairman of the General Authority for Roads.

This initiative has been implemented on the “Makkah-Medina” highway, a vital corridor utilized by thousands of pilgrims during the Hajj season. The mobile sites are operational 24 hours a day throughout this peak period, reflecting the authorities’ commitment to addressing the needs of those undertaking this sacred journey. Each site is designed to accommodate approximately 40 pilgrims, ensuring that sufficient space is available for everyone requiring assistance.

Equipped with air conditioning, the mobile facilities provide comfortable resting areas, ensuring that pilgrims can relax while waiting for assistance. These sites are also outfitted with essential amenities, including sanitation facilities, cold beverages, and hospitality meals, ensuring that comfort and convenience are prioritized at all levels.

The launch of the Mobile Sites service underscores the General Authority for Roads’ dedication to enhancing the pilgrimage experience. The initiative aims to facilitate travel between Makkah, Medina, and the holy sites, ensuring that pilgrims can fulfill their spiritual obligations without undue stress. By providing essential support during potential travel disruptions, the authority is fostering an environment of safety and accessibility throughout this sacred journey.

In summary, the General Authority for Roads has taken a significant step in enhancing the pilgrimage experience through the introduction of Mobile Sites along the Makkah-Medina highway. This proactive measure serves to guarantee that pilgrims can navigate their journey with peace of mind, knowing that assistance is readily available in case of unforeseen complications. The commitment to providing a safe and comfortable experience reflects not only organizational priorities but also the broader goal of facilitating the Hajj pilgrimage in a manner that respects the traditions and needs of the pilgrims.
