Strengthening Saudi-Turkish Relations: A Meeting of Diplomacy and Cooperation
Today, in the diplomatic headquarters of Riyadh, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, welcomed His Excellency Hakan Fidan, the Turkish Foreign Minister. The two dignitaries held fruitful discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation across various domains, while also addressing the evolving political landscape in the region.
Following this reception, Prince Faisal and Minister Fidan presided over the second meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council. In a subsequent development, a Memorandum of Understanding dedicated to training in the diplomatic field was signed between the Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies, representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Turkish Foreign Ministry’s Diplomatic Academy. From the Saudi side, the agreement was signed by His Excellency Walid bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, while on the Turkish side, it was signed by His Excellency Dr. Nuh Yilmaz, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey.
The meeting was attended by notable figures including His Excellency Walid bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, the Assistant Minister of Defense; His Excellency Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Tawq, the Assistant Minister of Culture; His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thnein, the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development; His Excellency Ibrahim bin Yusuf Al-Mubarak, the Assistant Minister of Investment; and His Excellency Fahd bin Asaad Abu Naser, the Ambassador of the Kingdom to Turkey. Additionally, Eng. Fahd bin Saeedan Al-Harithi, the Secretary of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council, also graced the discussions.
