الطقس ودرجات الحرارة المتوقعة ليوم الاثنين، 12 مايو 2025

The National Center of Meteorology has released its weather report, forecasting continued showers accompanied by thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds for several regions in Saudi Arabia. Specifically, areas including Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and the southern parts of the Makkah region are expected to experience these weather phenomena. At the same time, the report highlights the ongoing impact of active winds that stir up dust and sand, significantly reducing horizontal visibility in regions such as the Eastern Province, Riyadh, Al-Madinah, Qassim, and Hail. Some areas may even witness near-zero visibility, particularly in parts of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders.

According to the report, surface wind patterns over the Red Sea will predominantly be from the southwestern to the northwestern directions, moving at speeds of 20 to 40 kilometers per hour. In the northern sections of the sea, wind speeds could intensify to reach 50 kilometers per hour by the evening. Wave heights are anticipated to vary between one to two meters, with peaks reaching up to two and a half meters, resulting in moderate to rough sea conditions. Conversely, the wind conditions in the Arabian Gulf will typically be from the southwestern to southeastern directions, with speeds varying from 15 to 30 kilometers per hour. The wave heights in this area are expected to range between half a meter and one and a half meters, contributing to light to moderate sea conditions.

Overall, residents in the affected regions are advised to exercise caution while traveling, given the potential for adverse weather conditions and reduced visibility. It is essential for individuals to stay updated through reliable weather reports as the situation evolves.
