وزارة الداخلية تعلن عن فرض غرامة 100,000 ريال على الناقلين الذين يساعدون الحجاج بصورة غير قانونية

The Ministry of Interior has announced the enforcement of a substantial financial penalty reaching up to 100,000 Saudi Riyals for individuals who transport holders of visitor visas or attempt to do so with the intention of delivering them to Mecca and the holy sites. This regulation is effective from the first day of Dhu al-Qi’dah until the end of the 14th day of Dhu al-Hijjah. The ministry will also request the relevant court to confiscate any land vehicle that is proven to have been utilized in such activities, whether owned by the transporter, a contributor, or any accomplice involved.

In a concerted effort to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims as they perform their sacred rituals smoothly and in a state of tranquility, the Ministry of Interior urges all citizens and residents to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations governing the Hajj season. These measures are crucial for maintaining order and protecting the well-being of those undertaking the pilgrimage.

Additionally, the Ministry has encouraged the public to promptly report any violations of these regulations. Citizens can do so by contacting the emergency number 911 in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, while residents in other areas of the Kingdom can reach out via the number 999. This proactive approach is intended to foster a safe environment for all pilgrims, emphasizing the collective responsibility of the community in upholding the sanctity of the Hajj pilgrimage.

The implementation of these regulations comes at a critical time as the Hajj season approaches, highlighting the Ministry’s commitment to managing the influx of pilgrims effectively. The transportation of individuals holding visitor visas not only undermines the legal frameworks established for Hajj but also poses risks to the safety of pilgrims. The Ministry’s initiatives demonstrate a serious approach to mitigating potential disruptions and ensuring that the pilgrimage experience remains sacred and secure.

As the pilgrimage period draws near, it is vital for all stakeholders, including transport providers, to remain informed about these regulations. The repercussions of non-compliance are severe, including hefty fines and the confiscation of transport vehicles. This strict stance reflects the Ministry’s broader mission to protect the integrity of religious rites while safeguarding public order.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Interior has taken decisive action against the unauthorized transport of visitors during the Hajj season, setting forth strict penalties to deter such practices. By reinforcing the importance of adherence to Hajj protocols, the Ministry is not only ensuring a smooth pilgrimage experience but is also fostering a culture of accountability among all participants in this significant event. The public’s cooperation is essential in maintaining the safety and sanctity of the Hajj, underscoring the shared responsibility to uphold these values.
