توقعات الطقس ودرجات الحرارة ليوم الاثنين 5 مايو 2025

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its weather report for today, predicting the likelihood of intermittent rainfall ranging from moderate to heavy intensity. These rainfalls are expected to lead to the formation of streams and may be accompanied by sporadic hail and active winds, which could stir up dust and sand in various regions. Specifically, this weather phenomenon is forecasted to affect parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah. Meanwhile, lighter to moderate rain is anticipated in areas including Riyadh, Qassim, the Eastern Province, the Northern Borders, and Al-Jawf.

In its analysis, the report elaborated on the expected surface wind patterns over the Red Sea. It noted that these winds will generally emanate from the northwest to the north at speeds of 20 to 42 km/h in the northern and central regions of the sea. In the southern part, winds will shift from southwestern to northwestern at speeds ranging from 15 to 35 km/h. The report also highlighted that wave heights in the northern and central sections of the sea are expected to reach between one to two meters, while the southern area may see waves ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters. Overall, ocean conditions are projected to be light to moderately choppy.

Similarly, the surface wind patterns over the Arabian Gulf were outlined as well. The report indicated that winds would be blowing from the northeast to the northwest at a speed of 15 to 38 km/h across the central and northern sections. In the southern section, winds are expected to shift from southwestern to northwestern at speeds between 12 and 32 km/h. Wave heights in this region could vary from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea state being classified as light to moderately choppy.

The forecast underscores the importance of remaining vigilant, particularly in regions prone to severe weather conditions, as the anticipated rains may lead to flash floods and reduced visibility due to the winds stirring up dust. Residents and travelers in affected areas are advised to exercise caution and remain updated on weather developments as the situation unfolds.

This weather pattern exemplifies the typical variability seen during this time of year, offering a reminder of nature’s unpredictability. As conditions fluctuate, the NCM remains committed to providing ongoing updates, ensuring that the public is well-informed about any evolving weather threats.

In conclusion, the current weather conditions are being closely monitored, and precautions are being urged. Authorities encourage individuals to remain alert, especially those living in vulnerable areas. By staying informed and prepared, residents can better navigate the challenges posed by the impending weather phenomena.
