برنامج الإغاثة الملكي سلمان يختتم ثلاثة دورات تدريبية تطوعية في دمشق

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has successfully concluded three volunteer training programs focusing on disaster response, psychological support for women and children, and administrative training in Damascus, Syria. These programs were conducted from April 26 to May 3, 2025, in collaboration with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority and the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.

During this initiative, the volunteer team from the center trained a total of 246 individuals in disaster response, 187 in administrative capacities, and 708 in psychological support. The training included 87 individual counseling sessions designed to empower participants and enhance their skills in managing crises, supporting mental health, and effectively administrating their respective roles.

This series of volunteer training programs is part of a broader array of humanitarian projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The aim of these initiatives is to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.

The training programs were carefully curated to address the pressing needs of the local population, particularly in light of the extensive challenges posed by the ongoing conflict. Participants in the disaster response program received comprehensive training in emergency preparedness and crisis management, crucial skills that can greatly assist in the face of natural disasters or other emergencies.

Furthermore, the psychological support training was particularly tailored to assist women and children, segments of the society that have been disproportionately affected by the crisis. The center’s commitment to providing mental health support reflects a growing recognition of the importance of addressing psychological well-being as an integral aspect of humanitarian aid.

The administrative training covered essential skills necessary for efficient organizational management and operations, equipping participants with the tools needed to enhance the effectiveness of their respective organizations in delivering aid. This program not only strengthens the immediate capacity to respond to crises but also builds a sustainable framework for ongoing humanitarian efforts in the region.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has continuously sought to provide vital assistance and foster resilience within communities facing adversity. By investing in local capabilities through training and empowerment, the center aims to create a lasting impact that extends beyond immediate relief efforts.

Overall, these training programs signify a proactive approach by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support the Syrian population through skill enhancement and empowerment. The collaboration with local organizations underscores the significance of community involvement in addressing humanitarian needs and developing effective responses to the challenges faced by the affected populations.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center remains dedicated to its mission of alleviating suffering and reinforcing the capacity of individuals to improve their situations. As they continue to implement such initiatives, the center not only provides immediate support but also fosters a sense of hope and resilience among those impacted by the crisis.
