Interior Minister and Bahraini counterpart lead fourth meeting of Security Coordination Committee from Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.

The fourth meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Security Coordination Committee took place today at the Ministry of Interior in Jeddah. The meeting was headed by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Minister of Interior, and His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Bahraini Minister of Interior.
During the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz emphasized the importance of enhancing the existing security cooperation between the two brotherly countries. He highlighted the efforts made by both sides in implementing various initiatives aimed at strengthening joint security work and providing additional facilitation for the citizens of both countries. The meeting was held in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
The meeting included a review and discussion of several agenda items. At the end of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz and Sheikh Rashid signed the minutes of the fourth security committee meeting derived from the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
Among the attendees from the Saudi side were Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Faleh, Assistant Minister of Interior; Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Batal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Thaqafi, Advisor at the State Security Presidency; Issam bin Abdullah Al-Waqit, Director of the National Information Center; Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, General Director of Public Security; Khaled bin Ibrahim Al-Arwan, Director General of the Office of the Minister of Interior for Studies and Research; Brigadier Mansour bin Fareej Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Director General of Passports; and Badr bin Ibrahim bin Salama, Director of International Cooperation at the National Cybersecurity Authority.
From the Bahraini side, the participants included Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Citizenship, Passports, and Residence Affairs at the Ministry of Interior; Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Customs Affairs; Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Ambassador of Bahrain to the Kingdom; Brigadier Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security; Nasser Ahmed Al-Janid, General Supervisor of the General Directorate of Interior Affairs; and several other senior officials.
Overall, the meeting served as a platform to strengthen security ties between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, reflecting the commitment of both countries to achieving further security, stability, and prosperity for their citizens.
