Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan launches Environment Week under the theme “Our Environment, Our Treasure” in the Northern Borders

The Crown Prince of the Northern Border Region, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated the 2025 Environment Week activities in his office today. This year’s theme is “Our Environment, Our Treasure.” He emphasized the importance of the environment as a national heritage and natural treasure that must be preserved. Prince Faisal stressed the need to activate partnerships between government agencies, social institutions, and volunteer organizations to enhance environmental awareness, contribute to environmental sustainability, and align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 targets.

The Environment Week activities aim to raise community awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and natural resources. They also seek to promote environmentally friendly behaviors, discourage harmful practices, spread environmental culture, and enhance individual and collective responsibility for preserving the environment as a national treasure.
