Border Guards Patrols in Asir, Jazan, and Al-Madinah foil smuggling of 275.6 kilograms of khat and drugs

Border patrols in the Rub’ al-Khali sector of Asir region apprehended 10 Ethiopian nationals for smuggling 192 kilograms of khat. The necessary legal procedures were initiated against them before they were handed over to the appropriate authorities along with the confiscated contraband.
Additionally, border patrols in the Aardeh sector of Jazan region arrested four Yemeni nationals for attempting to smuggle 80 kilograms of khat. Similar to the previous case, initial legal actions were taken against them before they were transferred to the relevant authorities along with the seized items.
Furthermore, patrols in the Yanbu sector of Al-Madinah region foiled an attempt to smuggle 3.6 kilograms of marijuana. Preliminary legal measures were carried out, and the confiscated drugs were handed over to the appropriate authorities.
