The Saudi stock index closed higher today, gaining 17.61 points to finish at 11634.42 points, with trades amounting to 5.7 billion riyals. The total shares traded were 342 million, with 109 companies’ stocks increasing in value and 131 companies’ stocks decreasing.
Shares of Lazordi, Exporters, Zain Saudi Arabia, Real Estate, and Takween were the top gainers, while stocks of Resources, City Cement, Umm Al-Qura Cement, Paper Industry, and Tihama were the biggest losers, with fluctuations ranging between 10.00% and 4.93%.
The most active stocks in terms of quantity were Americana, Shams, Fattah Group, Zain Saudi Arabia, and Batelco, while the most active in terms of value were Al Rajhi Company, Saudi Telecom Company STC, Saudi Aramco, Zain Saudi Arabia, and Al Ahli Company.
On the other hand, the parallel Saudi stock index (Nomu) closed lower today, dropping 57.73 points to reach 29083.57 points, with trades worth 28 million riyals and over 3 million shares traded.
