Saudi Arabia Wins Top Prize at 2025 International Geneva Inventions Exhibition

Saudi Arabia achieved a milestone at the 2025 Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, with innovative Dr. Saad Al-Anzi from Majmaah University winning the Grand Prize. In addition, other Saudi innovators won 6 international awards and 124 global medals, marking a significant achievement for the education system since the exhibition began.
The Kingdom participated in the exhibition with 134 scientific inventions among over 1000 innovations from 35 countries worldwide. A total of 161 Saudi innovators from public education, universities, and technical training, along with faculty members, competed for the international awards.
The awards included 124 medals won by students from universities, public education, and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, along with 6 special awards. Universities claimed 4 of these awards, while public education secured 2 for scientific and technological innovations in various fields such as engineering, medicine, chemistry, environment, plant sciences, software systems, and energy.
Dr. Saad Al-Anzi, the recipient of the Grand Prize, expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership for its support of innovators, highlighting the Kingdom’s leadership in fostering innovation and empowering national talents. Students from the education system also expressed their pride and gratitude for the support and encouragement they receive, stating their happiness in representing and raising the flag of Saudi Arabia at one of the world’s premier innovation exhibitions.
