The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom expressed its strongest condemnation of Israel’s recent closure orders against six schools belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in East Jerusalem. The Kingdom reiterated its firm rejection of the Israeli authorities’ continued obstinacy and deliberate targeting of UNRWA and its humanitarian work, amidst international silence.
The Ministry called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities towards the ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, emphasizing that silence on these violations exacerbates the crisis and undermines peace prospects in the region.
