Ministry of Hajj to host second edition of “Umrah and Visit Forum” next Monday

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with the Guests of the Merciful Program, is organizing the second edition of the Umrah and Visit Forum from 16th to 18th of Shawwal 1446 H, corresponding to 14th to 16th of April 2025, at the King Salman International Convention Center in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, under the theme “Enhancing the Experience of Umrah Pilgrims and Visitors”.

This event is a prominent global gathering in the field of Umrah and visit services, bringing together leaders, decision-makers, service providers, entrepreneurs, and innovators from around the world to exchange experiences and discuss ways to enhance the experience for the guests of Allah. This year’s edition aims to enhance the experience for pilgrims and visitors, building upon the success of the first edition last year. It seeks to set new standards to elevate the Umrah and visit experience based on technological advancements, digital transformations, and sustainable investments in the sector.

The forum will see the participation of more than 150 exhibitors representing over 100 countries, with over 25,000 expected visitors, including investors, experts, sector pioneers, as well as representatives from non-profit organizations and media entities. The forum will offer a mix of specialized events covering various aspects of the Umrah and visit system, highlighting the latest sector developments, showcasing an interactive exhibition of technological solutions and innovative services, and hosting workshops for decision-makers and experts to discuss sector development opportunities and review the latest solutions and services contributing to improving the experience for the guests of Allah and enhancing sector efficiency.

Furthermore, the forum will cover new areas that enhance the Umrah and visit journey experience, such as technology and digital transformation to explore smart solutions that improve services and healthcare to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims and visitors. It will also discuss ways to develop modern transportation methods to serve the guests of Allah.

The Umrah and Visit Forum 2025 reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to developing the Umrah and visit system and achieving the goals of Vision 2030 through enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector, strengthening cooperation with local and international entities, and the successful developmental steps taken in historical, cultural, and heritage sites in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. These steps have contributed to welcoming over 18 million visitors in 2024, underlining the continuous need to develop services and achieve integration among various sectors involved in the Umrah and visit experience.
