163rd Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council to Hold Joint Meetings with Egypt, Syria, Morocco, and Jordan in Mecca Tomorrow

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr. Jassem Mohammed Al-Bedaiwi, announced that the 163rd Ministerial Council meeting of the GCC will take place tomorrow, Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the city of Mecca, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Yahya. The meeting will also be attended by foreign ministers from various Gulf countries.
On the sidelines of the ministerial meetings, there will be joint sessions with representatives from Egypt, Syria, Morocco, and Jordan. These meetings will focus on strengthening strategic relations and collaboration in various fields to achieve common interests. Discussions will also involve regional and international issues to support security and stability in the region.
The Ministerial Council of the GCC will discuss the implementation of decisions made at the 45th Summit in Kuwait in December 2024. They will also review reports submitted by various committees to address issues related to dialogue, strategic relations with other countries and international organizations, and the latest regional and international developments affecting the region.
As for the joint ministerial meetings with Egypt, Syria, Morocco, and Jordan, the Secretary-General highlighted the importance of enhancing strategic relations and cooperation in various areas to achieve common interests. The meetings will focus on continued consultation, coordination, and exchange of views on regional and international issues of common interest to support security and stability in the region.
