King Salman Center for Relief Distributes 6391 Food Baskets in Several Neighborly Countries

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed 400 food baskets to the most vulnerable families of displaced individuals in the Sangha locality in the state of Sennar in the Republic of Sudan. This assistance benefited 3,794 individuals as part of the third phase of the food security support project in Sudan for the year 2025.

Similarly, the Center also distributed 5,000 food baskets in the White Nile state of Sudan as part of the same project. The goal is to provide food security support in Sudan until 2025.

The overall project aims to distribute 30,000 food baskets to displaced individuals as part of a voluntary return program to their homes in states such as Al-Jazirah, Khartoum, Red Sea, Sennar, and White Nile.

In addition to Sudan, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed 250 food baskets in Dakka, Bangladesh, benefiting 1,250 individuals or approximately 250 families as part of the Ramadan food basket project in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for the year 1446 H.

The fourth phase of the “Eitam” project aims to distribute 390,109 food baskets in 27 countries during Ramadan, benefiting 2,304,104 individuals at a cost exceeding 67,064,000 Saudi Riyals.

Furthermore, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center distributed 741 food baskets in the Sheikh Othman district in Aden, Yemen, benefiting 5,187 individuals from 741 families as part of the food aid project in Yemen.

All these efforts are part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom through the Center to ensure food security in several sisterly and friendly countries worldwide.
