King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Successfully Conducts Pediatric Cardiology Project in Aleppo

From May 16 to May 23, 2025, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center executed a volunteer medical initiative focused on pediatric cardiac surgery and catheterization in Aleppo, Syria. This mission was part of the Saudi Volunteer Program “Hope,” which aims to provide assistance to our Syrian brothers and sisters in need.

During this impactful campaign, the dedicated volunteer medical team carried out a total of 28 cardiac catheterization procedures along with two successful heart surgeries. Notably, all procedures were completed with commendable success. Additionally, the team facilitated 30 X-ray examinations and conducted 30 laboratory tests. Moreover, medications were provided to 30 individuals, further demonstrating the comprehensive approach to healthcare that this initiative embodies.
