وزارة السياحة تنفذ نحو 3500 زيارة رقابية وتوعوية في مكة المكرمة منذ بداية شهر ذي القعدة 1446هـ

The Ministry of Tourism has announced that its regulatory teams conducted nearly 3,500 oversight and awareness visits in Mecca from the beginning of the Islamic month of Dhul-Qi’dah until the fifth of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 1446 Hijri. These visits aimed to assess compliance among hospitality establishments with established regulations and standards, including cleanliness, adherence to safety guidelines, and health protocols.

In addition to health measures, the inspections examined how well these venues followed security directives from relevant authorities concerning environmental and safety measures, first aid protocols, and emergency evacuation procedures, among other considerations.

According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Tourism, Mohammed Al-Rasasima, these regulatory efforts are part of the ministry’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims during the sacred Hajj season. The Ministry is collaborating with other governmental bodies to ensure that the pilgrims can perform their religious rites with ease and peace of mind.

Al-Rasasima emphasized the importance of not only regulatory compliance but also the participation of the public in this oversight process. He encouraged individuals to voice any queries or concerns they may have regarding the services they receive. The public can reach out with feedback via the unified tourism contact center at 930, reinforcing the Ministry’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

Through these proactive initiatives, the Ministry aims to create an environment where pilgrims feel safe and well-cared for during one of the most significant periods of their lives. The scale of oversight reflects a concerted effort to maintain high standards in hospitality and to ensure a seamless experience for those undertaking the pilgrimage to the holy sites.

This oversight not only fosters compliance among hospitality providers but also instills a sense of trust and confidence among the guests. By rigorously checking hygiene, safety, and operational guidelines, the Ministry seeks to protect both the well-being of the pilgrims and the integrity of the services on offer.

As the pilgrimage season continues, the Ministry of Tourism remains vigilant, adapting to challenges and preparing to meet the evolving needs of both visitors and service providers alike. By fostering collaboration between various governmental agencies and industry stakeholders, the Ministry seeks to uplift the overall pilgrimage experience and address any potential issues that may arise.

The Ministry’s approach is indicative of a broader strategy aimed at enhancing the pilgrimage experience in Saudi Arabia through efficient service delivery and strict adherence to health and safety measures. This commitment not only aligns with national goals of improving tourism but also showcases the Kingdom’s dedication to accommodating pilgrims from across the globe in a secure and welcoming environment.

By prioritizing transparency and inviting feedback from the public, the Ministry is ensuring that this cooperation extends beyond regulatory compliance, allowing for continuous improvement and responsiveness to the needs of pilgrims. The unified tourism contact center serves as a valuable resource, enabling individuals to communicate their experiences and ensure that services remain at a high standard throughout the entire season.

Overall, these efforts highlight the Ministry of Tourism’s proactive stance in enhancing the pilgrimage experience, maintaining high levels of service quality, and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all visitors attending this significant religious event. Through these concerted actions, the Ministry aims to not only uphold but also exceed the expectations of millions of pilgrims who travel to Mecca each year, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading destination for Islamic tourism.
