Engineer Fadli to Kick off Sixth Edition of Environment Week Tomorrow with Events Across Riyadh and Kingdomwide

Tomorrow, His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadli, will inaugurate the Environment Week activities and exhibition in Riyadh under the theme “Our Environment, Our Treasure.” The event will take place at the exhibition area on the Eastern Ring Road in the capital city. The inauguration ceremony will feature visual presentations highlighting the Environment Week theme, the launch of the national environmental performance indicator, signing agreements, environmental awards, and children’s presentations advocating for environmental conservation.
This year’s edition of Environment Week 2025 aims to introduce many innovative and diverse events in all regions of the Kingdom. It encourages wide participation from government entities, private sectors, and society members. Activities will include environmental exhibitions, workshops, scientific lectures, field activities, awareness campaigns in the media, and social media platforms. The goal is to raise awareness and empower the community to protect the environment and preserve natural resources.
The Ministry of Environment has called on all sectors of society, public and private institutions, to contribute to building a green future by participating in Environment Week events, promoting environmental awareness, and encouraging positive environmental behaviors among all community members. The activities of Environment Week aim to increase awareness of the importance of environmental conservation, promote environmental culture, highlight the significance of Environment Week, achieve quality of life goals, activate the role of institutions and government entities in environmental preservation, enhance individual responsibility towards the environment, and maintain environmental balance in line with the targets of Vision 2030.
