King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has expressed his heartfelt gratitude in a reply letter to Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior and the Head of the Supreme Hajj Committee. The correspondence was in response to the prince’s congratulatory message on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and the successful completion of the Hajj season for the year 1446 AH.

In his message, King Salman acknowledged the telegram from Prince Abdulaziz, dated 12/12/1446 AH, which included congratulations addressed not just to himself but also to the regional governors, members of the Supreme Hajj Committee, security personnel, and various governmental and non-governmental organizations involved in this year’s pilgrimage activities. The king emphasized the collective efforts and exceptional preparations that made this year’s Hajj a rewarding experience for the over 1.67 million pilgrims.

The King attributed the successful Hajj season to divine blessings and highlighted the meticulous security, preventative, and organizational plans that were deployed to ensure the safety, comfort, and ease of the participants in their pilgrimage rituals across Mecca’s sacred sites. He expressed his appreciation for the extensive efforts exhibited by all sectors responsible for assisting the guests of Allah, noting the strong sense of dedication, enthusiasm, and precision demonstrated by those involved. King Salman was particularly pleased with the reports of pilgrims feeling a sense of peace, safety, and satisfaction during their spiritual journey.

In concluding his letter, King Salman reiterated his gratitude for the congratulations extended for Eid al-Adha and prayed for blessings and happiness to return to all, as well as the entire Islamic community. He also expressed his gratitude for the successful Hajj season and the opportunity to serve those who come to perform rituals at the Sacred House and visit the Prophet Muhammad’s mosque. The king prayed that Allah accepts the pilgrims’ Hajj, grants them safe returns to their homelands, and provides guidance in actions that benefit Islam and Muslims. He concluded with a plea for sincerity in both speech and action, and wished for the success and acceptance of all efforts made in service of others, emphasizing Allah’s omnipotence.

This message highlights the significance of teamwork and dedication among the many departments and individuals involved in the Hajj operations, underscoring a successful collaboration that enabled the faithful to fulfill their religious obligations.
