بالتعاون مع عدة جهات حكومية: “العقار” تُجري 13 جولة رقابية في 4 مناطق لضمان الالتزام بالأنظمة العقارية في مايو 2025

In collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and several government entities, the General Authority for Real Estate conducted 13 joint inspection rounds in May, visiting 103 real estate establishments across Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Mecca, and Asir. These inspections aimed to ensure compliance with real estate laws, particularly focusing on the Real Estate Brokerage System, as well as addressing specific regulatory concerns related to local employment, commercial concealment, and tax evasion.

The authority emphasized that fieldwork is a vital component of its strategy to regulate the real estate market. During this inspection period, the regulatory teams conducted 23,530 oversight checks on advertising boards and real estate offices. These checks led to the discovery of various violations, which included engaging in real estate brokerage activities without a valid license, failing to exercise due diligence in confirming the accuracy of information received from property owners or beneficiaries, and neglecting to disclose the license holder’s name or license number in property-related advertisements.

Additionally, the authority received 780 real estate complaints through its various communication channels, all of which were addressed and processed. Furthermore, the number of electronic surveys conducted exceeded 33,372 operations. The General Authority for Real Estate is also implementing electronic monitoring to oversee digital channels and real estate platforms, ensuring that advertisements and digital brokerage practices adhere to applicable regulations and standards.

The authority has called upon all brokers and real estate service providers to align themselves with the rules and regulations established by the Real Estate Brokerage System. It encouraged them to review existing violations to avoid penalties, which may include warnings, suspension or cancellation of licenses, or financial fines reaching up to 200,000 Riyals. Citizens and residents are urged to report any suspicions regarding real estate violations or fraud through the authority’s official channels, including a dedicated platform for lodging complaints or contacting the helpline at 199011 for real estate inquiries.

This proactive approach underscores the General Authority for Real Estate’s commitment to enhancing the integrity and transparency of the real estate market in the Kingdom.
