عقوبات تصل إلى 100 ألف ريال لمن يستضيف أو يحاول استضافة حاملي تأشيرات الزيارة مخالفاً أنظمة الحج

The Ministry of Interior has announced a significant financial penalty of up to 100,000 Saudi Riyals for anyone who accommodates or attempts to shelter holders of all types of visitor visas in designated housing areas. This includes hotels, apartments, private residences, guesthouses, pilgrim accommodation sites, and other similar establishments. The enforcement of this penalty applies to the period starting from the first day of Dhul-Qi’dah until the end of the 14th day of Dhul-Hijjah.

Notably, the fines are cumulative, meaning that if multiple individuals with visitor visas are sheltered or aided, each instance will attract a separate fine. This measure aims to uphold the regulations governing the Hajj pilgrimage and ensure the safety and security of pilgrims as they conduct their rituals smoothly and without disturbance.

The Ministry has called upon the public to adhere strictly to the Hajj laws, which are designed not only to facilitate the pilgrimage process but also to maintain order during this significant event. To support this effort, individuals are encouraged to report any violations of these regulations. Those in the Mecca, Riyadh, and Eastern regions can use the emergency number 911, while residents of other areas within the Kingdom can reach out via 999.

This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to managing the Hajj pilgrimage effectively, particularly as millions of Muslims from around the world gather in Mecca to perform their religious obligations. The Ministry’s reminder serves as a crucial intervention to prevent unauthorized stays, which can create complications and hinder the overall experience of the pilgrims.

Through this proactive approach, the Ministry of Interior seeks to ensure that the Hajj experience remains organized and accessible for all, minimizing any disruptions that could arise from noncompliance with immigration laws. The financial penalties are intended to act as a deterrent against harboring unauthorized visa holders, thereby enhancing the safety and security for all participants during this crucial time.

Moreover, this policy is in line with broader efforts to regulate and enhance the integrity of religious practices in the Kingdom. The Ministry is focused on fostering an environment conducive to spiritual fulfillment, which is essential while accommodating the influx of pilgrims during the Hajj season.

To conclude, the Ministry of Interior’s stringent regulations regarding housing for visitors during Hajj highlight the responsibility shared by citizens and residents alike in maintaining order and ensuring a seamless pilgrimage experience. By emphasizing compliance and encouraging vigilance against violations, the Ministry aims to facilitate a smooth, safe, and spiritually enriching Hajj for every pilgrim.
