Over 1.1 Million Pilgrims Arrive in Saudi Arabia from Abroad by End of Monday

The General Directorate of Passports has announced that a total of 1,102,469 pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom from abroad as of the end of Monday, 28th of November, 1446 H. These arrivals have utilized all air, land, and sea entry points across the country.

The Directorate reported that among the total, 1,044,341 pilgrims entered the Kingdom via air ports, while 53,850 arrived through land crossings and 4,278 via maritime routes.

To facilitate the arrival of these guests, the General Directorate of Passports has committed to fully leveraging its resources. This includes enhancing their operational capacities at international air, land, and sea ports by equipping their platforms with state-of-the-art technological devices. Skilled personnel proficient in multiple languages have been deployed to ensure a seamless and efficient entry process for the pilgrims.

The coordination and efficient management of pilgrim arrivals underscore Saudi Arabia’s dedication to providing a smooth Hajj experience for every visitor.
