وزارة الداخلية تفرض غرامة تصل إلى 100,000 ريال على ناقلي حاملي تأشيرات الزيارة إلى مكة والمشاعر المقدسة

The Ministry of Interior has announced the enforcement of substantial fines, reaching up to 100,000 Riyals, for individuals who engage in the unlawful transportation of holders of visit visas. This measure targets those attempting to guide these individuals to the holy city of Mecca and its surrounding sacred locations. The regulations are in effect from the first day of Dhul Qidah until the conclusion of the 14th day of Dhul Hijjah.

In addition to the hefty fines, the Ministry has specified that the competent court will be petitioned to confiscate any land transportation vehicles that are confirmed to have been used for these illicit activities. This applies not only to the immediate transporter but also to anyone who may have aided or colluded with them in these operations.

The Ministry of Interior emphasizes the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations governing the Hajj pilgrimage. These guidelines are designed to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims, facilitating their ability to perform religious rites with ease and tranquility. In light of this, the Ministry encourages the public to report any violations of these regulations. Those wishing to report infractions can do so by calling the designated numbers: 911 for the areas encompassing Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, while the number 999 should be used for other regions across the kingdom.

This new directive aims to preserve the sanctity of the pilgrimage experience and prevent any disruption that might arise from unregulated transport activities. The commitment to enhancing safety measures underscores the Ministry’s broader objective of maintaining order during one of the world’s largest religious gatherings, which draws millions of faithful each year.
