Over 755,000 Pilgrims Arrive from Abroad for the Hajj Season

The General Directorate of Passports has announced that a total of 755,344 pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj season, corresponding to the year 1446 in the Islamic calendar. This figure was reported as of the end of Wednesday, November 23, 1446, which aligns with May 21, 2025, in the Gregorian calendar.

According to the passports department, the majority of the pilgrims, numbering 725,297, arrived through various air gateways across the kingdom. Meanwhile, 27,225 pilgrims accessed the country through land crossings, and 2,822 pilgrims made their way through maritime routes.
