وزارة الداخلية تعلن فرض غرامة قدرها 20.000 ريال على كل من يؤدي أو يحاول أداء فريضة الحج بدون تصريح

The Ministry of Interior has announced a substantial financial penalty for individuals caught attempting to perform the Hajj pilgrimage without the appropriate permit. Effective immediately, this fine will reach a maximum of 20,000 Saudi Riyals. The enforcement period extends from the first day of Dhu al-Qi’dah until the conclusion of the 14th day of Dhu al-Hijjah.

In addition to financial repercussions, individuals who are found to be entering the pilgrimage without authorization—whether residents trying to sneak into the ritual or those overstaying their visas—will face deportation back to their home countries. Such violators will also be barred from re-entering the Kingdom for a period of ten years.

The Ministry has emphasized the importance of adhering to the regulations and guidelines surrounding the Hajj pilgrimage. These measures are designed to ensure the safety and security of all pilgrims, allowing them to partake in their religious duties with ease and peace of mind. The Ministry is urging all citizens and residents to report any violations of these regulations to the appropriate authorities. For incidents occurring in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, people can contact the helpline at 911. In other areas of the Kingdom, the hotline number is 999.

This proactive stance reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining order during one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. As millions of Muslims prepare to undertake this sacred journey, adherence to the regulations is crucial for the overall management of the event.

The Ministry’s measures underscore the significance of organized pilgrimage management, especially in the face of challenges posed by unauthorized participants. By implementing these actions, the Saudi government aims to safeguard the well-being of pilgrims while preserving the sanctity of the pilgrimage experience, which holds profound importance for the Muslim community globally.

As the dates for Hajj draw nearer, the Ministry remains focused on facilitating a structured and safe environment for those participating. Through public awareness campaigns and stringent enforcement, the authorities are working diligently to minimize disruptions and enhance the overall experience for lawful pilgrims.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Interior’s announcement serves as a reminder of the crucial role that compliance with Hajj regulations plays in protecting the interests of all involved. The penalties for unauthorized attempts to perform Hajj not only deter such actions but also reflect the broader goal of ensuring a secure and harmonious pilgrimage for the millions who travel to Saudi Arabia each year. The call for reporting any violations further emphasizes the collective responsibility of the community in maintaining the integrity of this significant religious event.
