Mobile Civil Status Units Enhance Accessibility Across Saudi Arabia

As part of the "We Come to You" initiative launched by the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Agency, alongside the "Present" program designed to serve remote provinces, centers, and villages, the mobile civil status units are extending crucial services to both men and women across 69 locations throughout the Kingdom. These units aim to bridge the gap between citizens and government services, particularly for those living far from civil status offices.

Service Schedule and Locations

In the Qassim Region, mobile civil status units began offering services today, particularly for women at the Qubbah Center for one week. Additionally, the units will operate at the Murghaan Girls’ Elementary School for three days and the Aqla Al-Suqour Secondary School for two days. Men’s services will be available at the Murghaan Boys’ Elementary School for three days and at the Nahund Intermediate School for one day. The service will then be provided to men at the Shimasiyah Intermediate School for two days, while women can get assistance at the Al-Mudhayb Primary School for one day. On Tuesday, services will be accessible to men at the Rifai Allahib Center for three days and at the Shimasiyah Governorate office, while women can visit the Mudhahib Second and Third Primary Schools. Services for women will continue on Wednesday at the Riyadh Al-Khobar Second Primary School and the Mudhahib Fourth Primary School, with Thursday’s offerings at the Al-Shihiyah First Primary School and the Al-Yarmouk Girls’ Primary School in Mudhahib.

In the Asir Region, services commence today for both men and women in Balasmar, alongside separate offerings for men at the Al-Raqidi Elementary School and the Ibn Baz Intermediate School in Muhayil Asir for three days each. Additional support will be available at the Al-Amair Secondary School in Tathleeth for both genders over the next two days. Women will also receive service at the Al-Dharas Secondary School in Khamis Mushait and other educational institutions throughout the week.

The Eastern Region will see mobile units today at the Intellectual Care Center in Hafr Al-Batin for women and on Monday at the 26th Intermediate School for Girls. A series of services will follow at various schools in Dammam throughout the week, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

In the Makkah Region, mobile units are currently providing services to men at the Dughaj Center for two days and at the Qia Center for one day, while women can access assistance at the Al-Awaila School in Rania. Similar arrangements are made in Jawf, Al-Baha, Hail, and various other regions, emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to delivering civil services to underserved areas.

Mobile Services Offered

The mobile units offer a range of civil status services, including issuing and renewing national identity cards, as well as providing replacements for lost or damaged ones. These mobile facilities represent a significant advancement in delivering on-the-ground services, catering to the needs of both men and women.

Benefits of Mobile Units

The provision of these mobile units significantly reduces the time and effort required by residents to access vital governmental services. By bringing services directly to communities, the initiative seeks to enhance the overall experience for citizens, ensuring that everyone has equal access to essential civil status capabilities.

The initiative reflects the government’s focus on improving public services and fostering inclusivity throughout Saudi Arabia. By continually adapting to the needs of all citizens, it promises to strengthen community ties and enhance the public’s confidence in government operations.

In conclusion, with a well-coordinated schedule and a comprehensive range of services, the mobile civil status units play a pivotal role in facilitating access to vital governmental resources, thereby promoting a more connected and engaged society across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
