Mobile Civil Status Units Enhance Accessibility Across Saudi Arabia
As part of the "We Come to You" initiative launched by the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Agency, along with the "Mawjoodin" project aimed at providing services to remote districts, mobile civil status units are currently offering their services to men and women at 42 locations throughout the Kingdom. This initiative is an integral part of the government’s efforts to ensure accessible civil services, particularly for those living in areas that are far from established civil status offices.
In the Asir region, mobile units have commenced their operations today, providing services for four days at Al-Haimah Center and Al-Hamrah Center, three days at Al-Huraydah, two days at Kahlān, and one day at Al-Qubā. Additionally, on Tuesday, services will extend to Al-Hamāṭa Primary and Intermediate School in the Rahat Al-Ma district for three days for men, while women will have access to services at the second primary school in Mahayel Asir for two days. On Wednesday, services for men will be available at Al-Faisal High School in Khamis Mushait for two days, with a single-day service for women at the twentieth secondary school in the same area. The following Thursday, the mobile units will facilitate services for men at the Sarh Center for one day.
In the Eastern Province, services commence today for both genders at Aramco Rowan for offshore drilling. On Monday, men will have access to the branch of Hafr Al-Batin University in Al-Khafji. Tuesday will see women served at the 27th Girls’ Intermediate School in Hafr Al-Batin, alongside services offered at the Primary School of Saqr Al-Jazeera in Dammam and the 12th Girls’ Intermediate School in Dammam. Wednesday services will continue for women at the 48th Girls’ Primary School in Hafr Al-Batin, along with offerings at the Khalid bin Khzam Primary School and the second girls’ intermediate school in Dammam, with each institution receiving services exclusively for one day.
Moving on to the Qassim region, the mobile units are scheduled to serve men at Al-Himjah Intermediate School, Abanat Intermediate and High School, and the Al-Miskah Center over the course of three days each on Tuesday, while women will be assisted at the eighth primary school in Al-Bukayriyah. On Wednesday, men will be serviced at Al-Nahawand Intermediate School in the Khabra Center. The subsequent Thursday, services will be available for women at the seventh primary school in Al-Bukayriyah for a single day.
In Hail, women can access services at the fifth primary school for girls on Tuesday, followed by men at the Mujahid Intermediate School on Wednesday, with services for women available at the twentieth primary school on Thursday, each for one day.
In the Al-Jawf region, services will be available for men on Tuesday at the Al-Nabk Abu Qasr Center in the Tabarjal district, alongside Salah al-Din Al-Ayubi Intermediate School in Sakaka. Women will be served at the Quran Memorization Primary School in Al-Nabk Abu Qasr and the first primary school for girls in Al-Tuwayr for two days at each location.
In the Al-Baha region, mobile units will provide services today for men in Beda, with services scheduled for women at Al-Ma’shaqa on Tuesday and at Al-Mrawa Primary School in Al-Mukhwa on Wednesday, both lasting two days.
In the Makkah region, services will begin today for men at the Al-Qiya Center, with a one-day service available on Monday at the Abu Rakah Center. Services are set for Tuesday at Al-Qafif Center for two days and will continue with women enjoying services at Saudi Airlines headquarters in Jeddah on Wednesday, and men receiving assistance on Thursday for a single day.
In the Northern Borders region, men will be served on Thursday at the Al-Tala’a Al-Tamayat Intermediate and Secondary School in Rafha for one day. Meanwhile, in Najran, services will be available today for men at the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, followed by services for women at the 11th Intermediate School in Najran on Wednesday, again for one day.
These mobile units provide essential civil registry services, including the issuance and renewal of national identity cards. By offering mobile services, the Civil Status Agency significantly enhances access to crucial documentation, streamlining the process and relieving the burden of travel for both men and women. This initiative not only promotes inclusivity but also reflects a commitment to improving public service efficiency in Saudi Arabia.
