Director General of Passports Welcomes Indonesian Deputy Minister of Immigration and Corrections

In a significant diplomatic meeting, Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba, the Acting Director General of Passports, welcomed His Excellency Salmi Karim, the Deputy Minister of Immigration and Prisons of the Republic of Indonesia. The encounter took place at the Hajj terminals of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, with the attendance of Indonesia’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz Ahmad.
The discussions focused primarily on the efforts of the airport’s passport division to facilitate and expedite the arrival procedures for pilgrims during the Hajj season. General Al-Murabba highlighted the various services provided to the pilgrims at the airport’s special Hajj lounges, which are equipped to cater to the unique needs of these travelers.
One of the key initiatives reviewed was the “Makkah Route” program. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of services offered to guests from countries participating in the program. The primary goal is to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for Hajj pilgrims, reflecting the host country’s commitment to hospitality and service excellence.
