His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Al-Jawf region, has emphasized the significant attention and investment that the wise leadership of the Kingdom is dedicating to the development and support of projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for citizens. This commitment aligns with the ambitious goals outlined in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
This statement was made during the inauguration of eight municipal projects in the Al-Aisawiyah area, which is part of the Al-Qurayyat governorate. The total investment for these projects amounts to 12 million Saudi riyals. The event was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Mutab bin Mishal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Governor of Al-Jawf, as part of Prince Faisal’s ongoing visits to various provinces and centers within the region.
During the inauguration, Prince Faisal received a detailed presentation from the Secretary of the Region, Engineer Atef bin Mohammed Al-Shar’aan. The projects include a variety of substantial developments aimed at enhancing recreational opportunities and urban infrastructure. Notably, these developments feature a municipal walkway spanning 11,000 square meters with a length of approximately 500 meters, designed to encourage outdoor activities and offer residents a scenic space for walking and exercising.
In addition, a park and playground located in the Al-Khayal neighborhood, encompassing an area of 4,600 square meters, provides families with a safe and enjoyable environment for children’s play and community gatherings. Another key initiative is the archaeological square park, which covers 13,700 square meters, fostering cultural appreciation in the community.
A significant project is the enhancement of the historical palace square, which spans 23,000 square meters, showcasing the region’s rich heritage while serving as a venue for cultural events. The Ghailb Khudr Park, covering 6,500 square meters, adds further green space to the community, promoting both environmental sustainability and recreational enjoyment.
Additionally, a service center in Ghailb Khudr, with an area of 1,500 square meters, is designed to cater to the administrative needs of local residents, enhancing the overall quality of services in the region. The entrance to Ghailb Khudr, measuring 2,100 meters in length and 12 meters in width, has been developed not only for aesthetics but to ensure smoother traffic flow into the area, coupled with the planting of 450 trees to improve the landscaping.
Finally, the Al-Aisawiyah Fayad Road, extending 2,950 meters, completes the series of projects aimed at upgrading infrastructure and connectivity within the region.
The completion of these projects is not merely infrastructural; it is part of a broader vision that seeks to improve the lifestyle of residents in Al-Jawf, reflecting the government’s ongoing commitment to development. The projects symbolize a step forward in achieving the aspirations laid out under Vision 2030, which aims to foster sustainable development and promote an enriched quality of life for all citizens.
