The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance of Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Secretariat of Exhibitions and Conferences, is set to participate in the 39th edition of the International Book Fair in Tunisia. This significant event will take place at the Kram Exhibition Center in Tunis from April 25 to May 4, 2025. The fair will feature 313 exhibitors from 29 different countries, all united under the theme “We Read to Build”.
Within this fair, Saudi Arabia’s pavilion will showcase a dedicated section by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, highlighting a range of publications from the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran. This selection includes various translations of the meanings of the Quran as well as multiple editions of the Quran itself, characterized by different recitations and formats. Moreover, the ministry will present an array of diverse scientific books and publications, demonstrating its commitment to disseminating knowledge.
One of the key attractions of the ministry’s section is the interactive electronic applications designed to provide valuable educational content and religious services. Among these notable offerings is a 3D application for the pilgrimage and Umrah, alongside a “Correct Citation” application that assists users in accessing accurate religious references. Furthermore, the pavilion will also feature a virtual reality experience aimed at allowing visitors to explore the Holy Kaaba and the Prophet’s Mosque, enhancing their connection to these sacred sites.
Additionally, the Ministry plans to distribute thousands of copies of the Holy Quran to visitors throughout the fair, reinforcing its dedication to its religious mission and serving the interests of Islam and Muslims universally. This initiative is not merely about sharing religious texts; it embodies a broader commitment to facilitate understanding and foster dialogue about the spiritual and cultural aspects of Islam.
This participation at the International Book Fair is part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to highlight its efforts in serving Islam and the Muslim community. It aims to present a positive and accurate portrayal of Islamic values and teachings, showcasing the myriad activities it undertakes. This initiative is firmly supported by the Kingdom’s wise leadership, reflecting its ongoing commitment to promoting religious outreach and education.
In summary, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs is set to make a significant impact at the 39th International Book Fair in Tunisia, providing a platform to share information, interact with a global audience, and reinforce its mission of nurturing a deeper understanding of Islam. By combining traditional publications with modern digital tools, the Ministry is poised to engage visitors meaningfully and effectively, thus fulfilling its role as a key player in the dissemination of Islamic knowledge and fostering a greater appreciation of its teachings worldwide.
