Minister of Justice praises leadership for achievements outlined in Vision 2030 annual report
His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense – may God protect them – for the achievements, progress, growth, and prosperity outlined in the annual report of Vision 2030 of the Kingdom.
He stated that one of these achievements is the Kingdom’s progress in justice indicators according to the Global Competitiveness Report for 2024, which is the result of significant efforts witnessed by the judicial system, with unlimited support and continuous follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers – may God protect him.
The Ministry worked on enhancing judicial quality through several projects aimed at developing the objective aspect of all elements of the judicial governance structure and procedural quality projects, which aim to activate the judicial review procedures plan, ensuring the management of the lawsuit according to approved and controlled procedures, and worked on enhancing the ability to predict judgments, achieving justice efficiently and reliably.
He highlighted that judicial services have worked on raising the efficiency and achievement levels, shortening the time and effort for beneficiaries. For example, the “Najiz” platform, through which more than 5.3 million electronic agencies were processed, benefiting more than 6 million beneficiaries in 2024. The platform also facilitated more than 1.3 million authentication processes through virtual notary services, marking a 60% increase from 2023. Additionally, the “Tardid” platform benefited 4.3 million beneficiaries by the end of 2024, hosting 2.2 million reconciliation sessions and issuing over 390,000 reconciliation documents through the platform, along with more than 2.3 million judicial sessions being held.
In conclusion, the Minister praised the continuous efforts and dedication of the Saudi leadership in advancing the justice system, enhancing efficiency, and providing innovative digital platforms to serve the citizens effectively. The achievements mentioned in the Vision 2030 report reflect the ongoing commitment to achieving the Kingdom’s goals and vision for a prosperous future.
