Prince of Qassim commends leadership support in achieving Saudi Vision 2030 goals and shaping future based on development pillars, economic diversification, and empowering people.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Qassim region, expressed his gratitude for the significant support and continued follow-up from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – in achieving the goals of Vision 2030. This vision represents an ambitious roadmap for shaping the future of the Kingdom based on sustainable development, economic diversification, and human empowerment.

Prince Faisal stated that the annual report of Vision 2030 for the year 2024 showed positive performance indicators, with a 93% progress in the implementation of national programs and strategies, completing or progressing 85% of the initiatives within the planned path. This demonstrates the resilience of the approach, clarity of objectives, and dedication to achieving national aspirations in the ninth year of the Vision’s launch.

The Governor of Qassim emphasized that the achievements made during this stage reflect the sources of strength on which Vision is based. This includes the Kingdom’s religious and geographical significance as the heart of the Arab and Islamic worlds, as well as its effective investment and economic power and strategic location, making it a global logistical and commercial hub.

He added that in the Qassim region, Vision was deeply embedded in all development programs, leading to significant progress in achieving its targets. This was especially evident in areas such as localization, increasing women’s participation in development and managerial leadership, as well as the successes of the Saudi Green Saudi Arabia program, which enhanced vegetation cover and environmental protection.

He highlighted that the Qassim region has implemented full digital transformation by automating internal processes and providing electronic services. These efforts aim to improve performance efficiency and enhance the quality of life in line with the Vision’s objectives to build an advanced and efficient digital government.

Prince Faisal affirmed that the region is experiencing rapid growth in various sectors, including investment, rural tourism, manufacturing industries, and logistics services. This elevates the Qassim region’s status as an attractive opportunity hub and a supporter of balanced development in the Kingdom.
