Minister of Islamic Affairs Discusses Hajj Season Preparations and Launches Multilingual Digital Pilgrimage Guide Initiative

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, held a meeting at his office in Jeddah today. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for Projects and Maintenance, Eng. Osama bin Hamad Al Jafal, the Director General of the Ministry’s branch in the Makkah region, the Secretary-General of Islamic Awareness for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, and several Ministry officials responsible for Hajj affairs. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the needs and latest preparations of the Ministry, as well as to review its key activities and programs for this year’s Hajj season in 1446 Hijri.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency highlighted the support the Ministry receives from the wise leadership – may God support them – in achieving its goals and mission in line with the Kingdom’s message of serving Islam, Muslims, the holy mosques, and inviting to God in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. He emphasized the importance of implementing an action plan that ensures the integration of sectors in providing the best services for the guests of the Most Merciful, to achieve the desired goals in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership.
