GeoMagine Wins Top Global Award in Geo-Spatial Field

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASGI) has been honored with the Global Geospatial Leadership Award by Geospatial World. This prestigious award recognizes the best governmental geospatial organizations worldwide. GASGI was announced as the global winner in geospatial field during the Geospatial World Forum 2025 held in Madrid, Spain from April 22-25.
The award ceremony was attended by Her Highness Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Al Mokren, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Spain, and Dr. Engineer Mohammed bin Yahya Al Sayel, the President of GASGI.
Geospatial World, established in 1996, serves as a leading platform for the global geospatial community. It is a non-profit organization that focuses on raising awareness about geospatial information and its role in providing innovative solutions to societal, environmental, and economic challenges. By enhancing geospatial knowledge through emerging geospatial technologies and integrating them with communication systems and artificial intelligence applications, the organization aims to achieve sustainability.
Since 2007, Geospatial World has been presenting the Geospatial World Leadership Awards to recognize excellence in the geospatial field. The winners are selected by a jury of experts in the geospatial industry.
