Riyadh’s Governor to Patronize Graduation Ceremony for 16th Batch of Students from Prince Sultan University

The graduation ceremony for the 16th batch of students from Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University in Riyadh was hosted by His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar, the Governor of Riyadh. The event took place at the university’s sports stadium. Upon his arrival, Prince Faisal was welcomed by Prince Fahd bin Mohammed, the Governor of Al-Kharj, and the university’s president, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim.
During the ceremony, Prince Faisal expressed his joy at sharing in the happiness of the university’s male and female graduates. He congratulated them on their achievement and praised the university for its significant progress in the field of education in recent years. He commended the graduates as representatives of a prestigious institution named after Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz. Prince Faisal acknowledged the support of the Governor of Al-Kharj and the university’s leadership in this success.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Following this, honors and postgraduate degrees were announced, along with the results for bachelor’s degrees and diplomas from various faculties. The attendees then enjoyed a patriotic operetta performed in honor of the occasion.
The graduates delivered speeches expressing their gratitude for Prince Faisal’s patronage of the ceremony, which marked the culmination of their educational journey. They shared their joy in reaping the rewards of their hard work and dedication to seeking knowledge for the betterment of their country and leadership. A visual presentation titled “Graduate Journey” was showcased for Prince Faisal and the audience.
Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim, the university’s president, delivered a speech thanking King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering support for education, research, and innovation. He praised Prince Faisal for sponsoring the graduation ceremony, emphasizing its significance in serving the cause of knowledge and education. The university’s mission focuses on equipping society with qualified competencies and advanced skills to contribute to national development through an integrated educational and research system that keeps pace with global scientific advancements and competes in the job market. Dr. Al-Tamim expressed confidence that the university, with the support of the government and the Ministry of Education, will play a vital role in modernization, renewal, and development.
