King Salman Center for Relief Volunteer Medical Team Conducts 27 Cochlear Implant Surgeries for Children in Senegal

The volunteer medical team from the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid in Saudi Arabia successfully conducted 27 cochlear implant surgeries for children in the Republic of Senegal. The surgeries were all successful, and speech therapy services were provided to 27 children. Additionally, 4 educational sessions were held for the children’s families, benefiting 54 individuals. This was part of the Saudi Hearing Program for cochlear implants and auditory rehabilitation for children in Senegal, with the participation of 20 volunteers from various medical specialties.

This initiative is in line with the relief and humanitarian efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Center for Relief, to alleviate the suffering of those in need across the globe.
