Hefty 50,000 Riyal Fine Imposed on Failure to Report Departure of Sponsored Individuals after Visa Expiry

The Ministry of Interior has enforced a financial penalty of up to 50,000 riyals, imprisonment for a period of up to 6 months, and deportation for any sponsor who fails to report the departure of their sponsored individual within the specified time of their entry visa expiry. The ministry emphasized the importance of complying with the regulations and instructions of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
