Crown Prince hosts Indian Prime Minister, engages in official talks

The Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, welcomed the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah. The official reception ceremony was held for Prime Minister Modi, followed by formal talks between the two leaders. The Crown Prince expressed his pleasure at Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the Kingdom and the opportunity to meet him.
During the discussions, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and explored ways to enhance and develop them in various fields. They also discussed current regional and international situations, efforts towards achieving security and stability, as well as exchanged views on issues of common interest.
Following the talks, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Modi chaired the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council meeting. Several topics on the council’s agenda were discussed in the presence of council members. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Modi signed the minutes of the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council meeting.
Later, the Crown Prince held a meeting with Prime Minister Modi, which was attended by several dignitaries from both sides. From the Saudi side, dignitaries included the Minister of Energy, the Deputy Governor of Makkah, the Minister of Sports, the Minister of Interior, the Minister of the National Guard, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the State Minister and National Security Advisor, the Minister of Commerce, the Minister of Investment, and other officials.
On the Indian side, attendees included the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Security Advisor, the Ambassador to the Kingdom, the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, and various special secretaries and officials from the Prime Minister’s office.
