Heavy Rainfall Hits 7 Regions in the Last 24 Hours, Qassim Receives Highest Amount of 24.5mm

The latest daily report from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture revealed that 41 hydrological and climatological monitoring stations across the Kingdom recorded scattered rainfall in various regions in the past 24 hours. The report highlighted that the Asyah Governorate in the Qassim region recorded the highest amount of rainfall at 24.5 mm, followed by Al-Shamasiyah at 9.1 mm, Riyadh Al-Khabra at 4.5 mm, Quba in Asyah at 4.4 mm, with Onaiza, Al Bukayriyah, and Al Fuwara in Buraidah recording 4.0 mm each.

In the Aseer region, the report noted 10.0 mm of rainfall in Souda, Abha, 6.4 mm in Tamam, 6.0 mm in Tehan and Rabia Baha, and 4.6 mm in Sha’ar in Abha. Rainfall in the Riyadh region reached 9.0 mm in Al-Zulfi, 6.0 mm in Al-Akhalah, and 3.5 mm in Al-Bateen Al-Janoubi in Al-Zulfi. Mecca recorded 6.4 mm of rainfall in Bernieh in Al-Afira.

In the Eastern region, the report indicated that Al-Ula Station in Al-Alya Village recorded 3.4 mm of rainfall, while Hafar Al-Batin recorded 3.1 mm, and Qaisumah Airport in Hafar Al-Batin recorded 1.1 mm. The Northern Borders region recorded 2.8 mm in Al-Shu’bah in Rafha.
